SK Egg Farmers New Entrant Program: Thursday May 29th, 2025
You will need:
- Offer to Purchase Form
- Completed Application for License to Produce & Market Eggs
- Detail Business Plan with:
- Anticipated production location
- Type of hen housing (Aviary, Enriched)
- Facilities & Equipment for production
- Timeline to start production
- Your experience and knowledge of egg production, bird care
- Experience in animal housing, animal welfare, food safety, and biosecurity practices
- Payment of application fee
Chicken Farmers: Monday June 2, 2025
You will need:
- Business Plan
- Eligibility Declaration
- Offer to Purchase Form
- Signed Bank Letter outlining proof of financing
- Application for Grower’s License
- If your proposed location requires, a letter from a licensed SK processor
- Payment of application fee
