Maassluis, September 10, 2024 – During today’s Yellow Revolution event, Lely introduced three new products for dairy farms. All products seamlessly connect with the company’s vision on the Farm of the Future as launched last year. The new products – a manure robot that is also applicable for barns with sand bedding, an automatic feed pusher for large-scale farms and a concept for smart monitoring of cows and barn operation – are the newest answers to the challenges that dairy farmers worldwide face. All products focus on further improving animal welfare, lowering the environmental impact of dairy farming and improving farmer prosperity.
Lely Zeta
Zeta is a revolutionary concept based on a strong vision for the future. By using cameras, LED lighting, Artificial Intelligence and smart algorithms, Zeta enables farmers to collect even more data to further improve animal welfare and farmer prosperity. With this visionary concept, Lely opens a new era in monitoring cows and barn operation.
Lely Juno Max
Juno Max is the first truly autonomous feed pusher for large-scale farms that takes feed pushing to the next level. Juno Max is designed to push feed quickly, smartly and efficiently, in multiple barns and feeding alleys. The availability of feed is – amongst others – crucial for good animal health. The newly designed free navigation system and obstacle detection ensure it can always accomplish its task: efficient feed pushing for large-scale farms.
Lely Discovery Collector C2 and sand flush accessory
The new Discovery Collector C2 builds upon 20 years of experience in manure handling in the barn. Discovery Collector manure robots use revolutionary vacuum technology to clean (semi) closed barn floors by collecting manure. This type of floor is seen in approximately 70% of dairy farms worldwide. Also launched is the sand flush accessory making the full Discovery Collector range applicable for barns with sand bedding as well. Lely now offers a manure solution for almost all dairy barns as sand is a commonly used bedding material worldwide.
Working towards the Farm of the Future
Today’s launches are an important step in working towards Lely’s vision of the Farm of the Future. Our solutions for dairy farming focus on five impact areas, based on both farmer and consumer needs. In doing so, we aim to turn today’s challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities.
Yellow Revolutions
Innovation is in the DNA of Lely. Already in 1948, founders Cornelis and Arij introduced the revolutionary Acrobat finger wheel rake. Many inventions followed. Early 2000’s, Lely introduced the Yellow Revolution concept. A Yellow Revolution represents a bold step forward in dairy farming, promising a future where innovation, technology and sustainability go hand in hand to improve dairy farming for our farmers. The previous Yellow Revolutions launched by Lely were Sphere, Exos and Horizon.
